Utah is a state in the western part of the United States. It neighbors Arizona to the south, Colorado to the east, Wyoming to the northeast, Idaho to the north and Nevada to the west. Its landscape is mostly rocky with three different regions, as the Rocky Mountains, the Great Basin, and the Colorado Plateau. It is said to be one of the most religiously states in the country. Most of the people live around Salt Lake City. Due to this, a large part of the state is almost uninhabited. The name "Utah" means people of the mountains in the Ute Indian language. Tourism is a big industry in the state. There are five national parks, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion. It also has seven national monuments, two national recreation areas, and six national forests.
