Canada is a country located in the north of North America. It is limited by the Atlantic Ocean in the east, the Pacific Ocean in the west, the Arctic Ocean in north, and the United States in south. It is the second largest country in the world and has the longest border in the world to the south and northwest. It is a federation of ten provinces and three territories. Canada is a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as its head of state. It has two official languages, English and French. It is one of the most developed countries in the world, with abundant natural resources traded mostly with the United States. It is a member of the United Nations, NATO, G8, OECD, G-20,  WTO,  OAS, APEC, and the Francophonie. Ontario and Hudson Bay dominate central Canada. The famous Niagara Falls is also in Canada. The South Nahanni River is a tributary of the Mackenzie River and forms the Virginia Falls, which is about twice as high as Niagara Falls. Canada will be the host country for the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, Whistler and British Columbia.
