Ukraine is a country in Eastern Europe. The country has about 462 million people. Ukraine has the second largest military in Europe, after Russia. The official language in Ukraine is Ukrainian, while Russian is also widely spoken. The landscape is mostly with fertile plains and plateaus. To the southwest, the delta of the Danube forms the border with Romania. Its only mountains are the Carpathian, and the ones on the Crimean peninsula. |
