Castellón de la Plana is an old important city in Spain. It is located in the eastern part of the country, on the Mediterranean Sea coast. It was founded in 1251. Most of the old landmarks are located around the Main Square. Popular ones are: The 13th century Gothic Concatedral de Santa Maria, the 18th century city hall, the 16th century Bell tower, the 17th century Hemp Exchange Market, and the Sasilica of Santa Maria del Lledo.
